So far, so good. I haven't finished reading it yet but I can say that's it's very well written, easy to grasp the more detailed concepts of plant-based eating - (I'm talking about the "scientific reasoning). I'm already making changes in my eating habits and am already feeling the benefits of doing so.

Page 36 - Mentions that you can get Ketosis if you don't eat enough carbs this is true but it is relatively difficult to achieve on a plant-based diet since you have to keep your carbs under 50 grams for multiple days and any piece of fruit will prevent the condition. It takes a few days to achieve ketosis, what you should worry about is ketoacidosis, but that typically does not happen in healthy people but those who have diabetes. A quick search of the web can give more information and you can see for yourselves.I am sure I am going to find other things that make me doubt the author but otherwise, it is a decent book.

I wish I would of had this book before my mom passed. We would of made sure she had a plant base diet for her feeding tube:) Knowledge is power!!!
